Please feel free to contact us directly with all questions at (847) 570-9715. Q: Where are Clio's events held? A: Our lectures are held at the McCormick Tribune Center. The films are screened in the Pick-Laudati Cinema at the Mary and Leigh Block Museum of Art.
Q: Where can I find information on past events? A: We archive all our events on the Topic Resources page. We also offer complimentary copies of our events on DVD. Please contact us for your copies, or visit the Evanston Public Library (Orrington & Church), or the Harold Washington Public Library in Chicago (State & Congress). Q: Why only DVDs? A: Due to industry forces beyond our control, it is far less expensive for us to mass-produce DVDs. If you would like a VHS copy of an event, please contact us. Q: Are Clio's events free? A: All of our events are open to the public and entirely free of charge. Q: How long do Clio's lectures typically run? A: Our lectures run around 60 minutes, with a short break before questions & answers. Q: Can I bring my books to be signed? A: Please do. Q: How can I stay informed? A: Please register with us for information on upcoming lectures, debates, and film screenings. Q: Who funds Clio? A: Clio is supported through the generosity of private foundations, and with assistance from Northwestern University. |
